URW  EXPEDITION  No. 12
SNOWDONIA REVISITED.
July 26/27/28 - 2002

Here are most of the walkers who attended the 12th URW Expedition  at Snowdonia in July 2002. Absentees from the photograph are Anthony Dyer, Fran Coombes & Co., Nigel Saunders and myself - for obvious reasons. As I didn't tackle the project for the week-end viz. the Nantlle Ridge, there are no photos of that part of the expedition. However I do include some photos of the alternative safari - a 2k walk along the  Afon Glaslyn in the Pass of Aberglaslyn.

The weather for the main thrust to Nantlle was decidedly mean, being very misty and affording few views. The low lying ground beside the river enjoyed some delightful sunny periods.  I give you below a gallery of photographs which I hope you will enjoy. Paul Saunders will, I hope, write a report on the low level walk. The photos here were all taken on my digital camera, and more transparency scans will be available later.
